CALCIUM CARBONAITE UN COATED
DESCRIPTION
Limestone is a group of calcite and rare aragonite in the science of minerals and chemical name for its calcium carbonate and its chemical formula (ca ca3). The theory of calcium carbonate contains 56% of the calcium oxide (ca o) and 44% of the carbon dioxide (co2) It contains a few impurities such as magnesium, aluminum, silica and iron.
Physical Specs :
Whitness : 96%
Brightness : 94%
Uses:
1- Plastics industry:
Calcium carbonate powder is used in many plastic products from the oil industry. Addition of calcium carbonate improves some of the physical properties of the plastic product. It makes it resistant to deformation. It increases its stability and resistance. It also has a good appearance and texture. The use of calcium carbonate in the plastics industry reduces the cost of production because it is much cheaper than oil and other raw materials, and some plastic products containing calcium carbonate pipes,
2. Rubber industry:
Calcium carbonate powder is widely used in rubber products because it makes processing easier and reduces costs as a filler. Some rubber products with calcium carbonate include electrical wires, belts and belts, shoes, tires, hoses, rubber gum, rubber dough and sponge.
3- Coating Industry:
Calcium carbonate is introduced as a filler to improve some of the natural properties of coatings such as thermal resistance, thermal conductivity, density, viscosity control, gonorrhea prevention, absorption prevention in wood surfaces. Low cost reduces cost, a basic material in the paint industry. Coating components.
It is used as a filler to raise the hardness by joining with the particles of colored materials or adhesives, forming a cohesive and stable material of high flow. The particle size of the calcium carbonate powder should be 20 micron.
4- Paper Industry:
Calcium carbonate powder is used in the manufacture of paper and not only in whitening, but it changes from acidic to neutral, so it is good for keeping it for very long periods without rot, as in newsprint, which is acidic paper. Packaging, sculpture paper, advertising paper, ... and more.
5. In the pharmaceutical and food industries:
Calcium carbonate powder is added to some types of foods and health supplements. Some foods are added to sausages, bread, chewing gum, juices, sweets, biscuits, and medical food as a calcium deficiency in the body. Pharmaceutical industries such as stomach acid Toothpaste, calcium pills, orthopedic drugs ... and others
6 - Manufacture of animal feed and agricultural fertilizers:
In the agricultural field, calcium carbonate powder is used to neutralize alkaline soil for livestock and fish. It is used in fertilizers for example as feed for poultry and birds to strengthen egg husks. It is also used in the process of marine agriculture as a process of planting and growing prawns and is also used as a medicine for animals
